🌴 Oʻahu in a Day: Waterfall Swim, Food Trucks, Sightseeing & History
Your adventure begins with a morning coffee stop at a local favorite before we head to the charming surf town of Haleʻiwa. We’ll take a scenic drive through the historic town, keeping our eyes out for Hawaiian green sea turtles basking along the North Shore.
Next, we’ll stroll through the lush gardens of Waimea Valley and cool off with a refreshing swim beneath Waimea Falls. One of the island’s most iconic natural wonders.
By lunchtime, you’ll be ready for the famous Kahuku food trucks, where you can choose from garlic shrimp, fresh fish, and other local favorites (lunch at own cost).
The journey continues with postcard-worthy stops, starting at Chinaman’s Hat and then the serene Byodo-In Temple, a peaceful Japanese-style sanctuary surrounded by lush mountains. From there, we’ll take in the panoramic views at Nuʻuanu Pali Lookout before heading to the dramatic coastline at Makapuʻu Lookout and the roaring Halona Blowhole.
Before returning to Waikiki, we’ll treat you to a warm, sugary malasada from Leonard’s Bakery. The perfect sweet ending to a day of adventure, history, and island beauty.
